About the Carl Cozier PTA

The mission/purpose of PTA for over 100 years has been to work for the health, welfare, safety, education, care and protection of children and youth in the home, school, community, and place of worship. The reason for PTA's existence is much broader than education and the school. The Washington State PTA defines its mission, quite simply, as building a better world for children.

The PTA at Carl Cozier is quite active. We sponsor a variety of programs from the world language program to the wonderful Reflections program. The PTA also sponsors the majority of assemblies. The Walk-a-Thon is our fundraiser to pay for school field trips, Tenant Lake presentations and the 5th grade Mountain School field trip. We also help to send kids to the Young Authors Conference. PTA purchased books for the library and book room and technology equipment for every classroom. On a lighter note, the PTA sponsored the Talent Show and the Sock Hop in the spring.
